FELI Nandi has devoted two years of her career to prepare for “Ndisiyei,” her second studio album.
Following her first offering “Izwi,” which was released in 2022, the diva will be releasing “Ndisiyei” on March 22 at 7 Arts Theatre in Harare.
The album carries eight tracks which have surprise collaborations which address themes of life.
Feli said:
“I am so excited about the album, it has been two years preparing the album and finally it is ready, so it is going to be an epic night.
“This has been a personal journey narrated in songs, I heard a lot of people say they connect with our songs but this album talks to everyone relating to every situation, everyone has a story to pick from it,” she said.
Feli’s manager, Connie Mazani, said on the new album, Feli Nandi experimented with new sounds.
“The album has eight tracks and the collaboration will be a surprise. The album is done, it’s the second album.
“Most of the songs narrate true events.
“So, we can say the theme is about real life experiences touching on the loss of death and suicide.
“On this album, there is some experimentation with some new sounds, which is another surprise,” said Mazani. Last year, Feli Nandi became a regular fixture at Doek & Slay events and successfully staged a nationwide tour.
She also headlined big events like the OK Grand Challenge and Chibuku the Road to Fame national finals. She performed in Germany at the Moto Moto Festival and in the UK.
