Feli Nandi invades Theatre in the Park

SONGBIRD Feli Nandi has promised fireworks at a concert slated for tomorrow at the Harare Gardens.

The concert is to be held at Theatre in the Park from 6pm till late.

In a statement, the former Mhodzi Tribe backing vocalist promised fireworks at the show.

Her latest album, Izwi, is doing well with songs like Ndoona Iwewe, Inzwi and Mufaro being people’s favourites.

Rooftop Promotions programmes manager, Passmore Ndlovu, said all was now set for the concert.

“The venue is ready to host this concert.

“I urge the public to book their tickets in advance to avoid pressure at the entrance.

“Feli is a music diva and is commended for her stage presence.

“Her deep Shona lyrics and powerful messages, conveyed in a modern musical style, are so impressive that you can’t resist the show,” he said.

The admission is US$10 and tickets are available at Theatre in the Park offices located in the Harare Gardens.

Meanwhile, the venue has also announced the return of one of the most powerful local bands from the late ‘90s to the early 2000s.

Pamuhacha hit-makers, Mateo and Friends, who have a concert slated for December 9.
