SOUL Jah Love’s copycat, Beezman B, says he is determined to learn from Zim dancehall stalwarts who paved the way for them.

Also known as Chipoko ChaSauro, the chanter has been given a slot at Sniper Storm’s album launch slated for Harare Gardens on Saturday.

Sniper will be unveiling his ninth album, titled Scenario, on Saturday.

In an interview with H-Metro, Beezman B said he was impressed by the progress he has made over the years.

“I am happy with the progress that I have made as one of the most sought-after Zim dancehall artists.

“I am always mobbed by ghetto youths each time I take a stroll around the ghetto.

“I know my fans are going to have so much fun since I am going to relive the Soul Jah Love moments on stage, I promise to deliver my best.”

The chanter said he won the hearts of many when he featured on Mukoma Panga’s single ‘‘Sadza Nemhiripiri,’’ which has an accompanying video.

He added:

“I have so many people confusing me with Sauro, stopping me in the middle of the road, to take a closer look.

“That’s always reminds me of the level I am supposed to live up to.

“I urge all my fans and Sauro’s fans to come in numbers and expect nothing but fireworks.

“I am dropping an album in 2023.”

The launch will feature performances from various artists, who include Seh Calaz, Dhadza D, Guspy Warrior, Kinnah, Blot, Shinsoman, Jah Signal and Bounty Lisa.

Top emcees and disc jockeys are also set to perform at the event.
