FELI Nandi believes her Germany tour has opened more doors for her to grow in a career that is shaping into an amazing success story for the artist.
She performed at the Moto Moto festival in Germany over the weekend.
The Moto-Moto Festival targets the European market with the goal of pushing African music to the global space.
It is a collaborative effort between local musical guru, Plot Mhako, and Germany promoter Victor Schach.
The focus is on getting an internationally diverse audience to come and enjoy what Zimbabwe has to offer in terms of music and artistry.
Feli’s next stop is the United Kingdom where she will be performing at the Zimfest Live alongside Winky D, EXQ, Shinsoman, Jah Signal, Poptain, Daliwonga, Feli Lee Te, Mellow and Sleazy.
In an interview with H-Metro, her manager, Connie Mazani, said:
“It was an amazing experience. We learnt a lot and managed to build some relationships and connections.
Feli returns to the UK stage alongside an array of artists including Winky D, Saintfloew, Sulumani Chimbetu, ExQ, Jah Signal, Poptain and Shinsoman who perform on Saturday.
Dubbed Zimfest Weekender, the event is set for Herts County Showground.
The two-day event also includes Amapiano artists on Sunday featuring South Africa’s Daliwonga, Felo Le Tee, Melo and Sleazy.
“It’s been a busy schedule and I am excited to return to the UK and meet my fans again.
“This weekend’s plans are in the UK, can’t wait,” said Feli.
Organisers Redcliff Management says the event will feature more than 10 live bands on three different stages and also include a kids zone, making it a family affair.
A Saturday after party event will feature top DJs including the Chillspot duo of Dj Fantan and Levels, who will share stage with SA’s DJ Tira.
More surprise acts are likely to be added to make the event family-friendly while celebrating the Zimbabwean and South African culture through music and dance.
The festival will also promote exquisite African food and markets from entrepreneurs living in the UK.
Next month, Feli is set to have a third edition of her intimate experiences, dubbed “A Night With Feli Nandi.”
