TALENTED gospel artist, Mathias Mhere, has reunited with Jah Prayzah on a new collaboration set to feature on his upcoming 11th album.
Mhere has named the album ‘Akati Anesu Emmanuel’ and he will launch it at the Rainbow Towers on September 6.
The musician has worked with Jah Prayzah on a song titled ‘Ndini Here?’
He has also featured Afro Jazz artist, Mbeu, on a song titled ‘Kana Zvamubata’.
The album, which is a product of both Lyton Ngolomi and KB Studios, will carry nine tracks.
“The message in all my songs is clear and I am happy to continue talking about how God’s grace changed me in this new project.
“A lot of people, including corporates, all have a past to look back to and point out how they grew from being small into becoming leading entrepreneurs.
“I have included a number of artists on the album superstar Jah Prayzah just to give the album an appeal,” said Mhere.
Mhere is also set to release his first joint collaboration with friends including Baba Manyeruke, Fungisai, Kuda Mutsvene and Jona Chivasa, among others.
“When I look at myself now, all I see is the grace of God, I can now be counted among some great musicians in the country because I have made decent progress.
“My recent tour in Australia made me realise that I am making strides internationally and I would like to continue on that path,” he said.
