UPCOMING Zimdancehall artist, Tabeth “Miss AK47” Tagwireyi, has penned a song, which urges young people to desist from drug and substance abuse.

Titled Drugs and Suicide, the reggae song, which urges the youths to stay away from drugs, has an accompanying video.

Speaking to H-Metro, Miss Ak47’s manager, Edwin Mutsago said:

“There is a lot of drug abuse and suicides taking place in our country at the moment.

“The situation is not good and this is what inspired Miss AK47 to come up with a song.

“It’s a song that brings awareness as well as pleads with the relevant authorities to deal with this situation that is now getting out of hand.”

Added Mutsago: “Let’s help each other as a nation to bring down the rate of drug abuse and suicide in the country.

“The song also has a video.”

Miss AK47 is a new dancehall artist on the local scene.

She also released a single titled Mbiri a few months ago.
