FIRST Farai says he finally got divine intervention after meeting Highfield-based apostolic church leader, Madzibaba Mozi, who financed the production of his 20th album
The Hurudza Express boss, who turned 45 on September 10, said he has done everything in his career but still some people don’t appreciate him.
He opened up ahead of the release of his 20th album, titled ‘Chigwagwagwa,’ which carries five tracks.
It will be launched at Bar Rouge on October 26.
An array of sungura artists, led by Alick Macheso and Nicholas Zakaria, are expected to grace the event.
Suluman Chimbetu, Romeo Gasa, Mathew Perego, Peter Moyo, Mark Ngwazi, Gift Amuli , Somandla Ndebele, Simon Mutambi and Solo Moyo are also set to grace the event.
“I am grateful to Madzibaba Mozi who has helped me to change my spiritual life.
“Despite being my sponsor, who financed the production of my album, he has also helped me to restore my relationship with God.
“In life, we go through a lot of things but it takes God’s intervention for us to succeed and overcome challenges.
“To be honest, I can’t conquer and overcome my challenges on my own,” he said.
Farai, who survived an abdominal infection on Covid-19 induced lockdown added:
“When I reflect on my life, I can only see the hand of the Lord and I will continue to praise Him because I am highly favoured.
“God has been grateful to me and I am glad to have supportive people in my life like Madzibaba Mozi and Dr Johannes Marisa.
“In life it’s always important to appreciate good people who have touched our lives.
“To my fans, the 20th album is my early Christmas present to them,” he said.
