Foreign investors eye Zim opportunities

FOREIGN businesspeople are keen to invest in the country and are eager to know more about investment opportunities that are available in Zimbabwe, a Government official has said.

Manicaland Provincial Affairs Minister Senator Monica Mutsvangwa said this while addressing Government officials, traditional chiefs and villagers who were witnessing the exhumation of human remains from an abandoned mine shaft in Odzi.

Sen Mutsvangwa said she witnessed the huge interest in Zimbabwe during her recent visit to United States of America.

“I was in the US a week ago in the company of my husband (Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa) and upon hearing that President Mnangagwa’s Special Advisor is in the country, within a few minutes investors were approaching him to know about investment opportunities in Zimbabwe because President Mnangagwa has opened the doors,” she said. Sen Mutsvangwa said Government should have cordial relations with other nations for a brighter future.— Herald Reporter.
