Former Rhinos defender dies

funeral were still sketchy but Black Rhinos coach Nesbert Saruchera said the ex-player was involved in a road accident along Chitungwiza road.
“He was involved in a road accident some two weeks ago along the Chitungwiza road. Allan was driving a kombi and was alone at the time.
“It was his personal vehicle,” said Saruchera. Mutasa was staying in Hougthon Park where the funeral wake is being held.
“Its real a loss to his family and friends. I worked with him when he joined Black Rhinos in 2003 until he left in 2008,” said Saruchera.
He left Rhinos after they were relegated from the Premiership to join Mutare side Highway.
During his time at Rhinos, Mutasa played along Eddie Nyika, Melody Wafawanaka, Kastigu Juwakinyu, Lazarus Muhoni, Brighton Chandisaita, Gift Karikuimba and David Guyo (late) among other players.
“He was a complete defender who could play in any position on the back four,” said Saruchera.
