MUSICIAN Daniel Gonora and his son Isaac will be performing tomorrow at Alliance Francaise de Harare.

The musician, who has just returned from Italy, said he feels honoured to be performing at a decent place having spent a lot of time playing on the streets.

“We have not had the opportunity to have a show like this before as a band,” he said.

“This is our first time and it is something that we have long hoped for.

“As a band, we feel great because we get to showcase our talents to an audience that will come to watch us play whereas on the streets it’s not the same.”

The band will share the stage with TruBantu Tribe during the show which is slated for 3pm to 6pm.

“TruBantu Tribe are an authentic Zimbabwean band and we love their music.

“We are glad that the light, which is currently shining on us, can also shine on them,” he said.

The musician also said he was looking forward to entertaining a lot of his fans.

“We expect to bring the Gonora Sounds from the streets onto the stage.

“Introduce an uptown crowd to our downtown beat and we want the fans to enjoy the music that we have played for years on the streets as a duo,” he also said.

Recently, the talented singer got a chance to perform in Milan where the drummer Isaac showcased his skills which stole the hearts of many.
