Funeral service for the late Cde Stanley Nleya held in Bulilima

THE send off funeral service for the late national hero Cde Stanley Nleya has commenced in his rural home in Masendu, Bulilima District, Matabeleland South.

Pastors  from various churches spent overnight singing and preaching to mourners who were gathered at the family’s homestead.

At 7AM the family conducted burial rituals, visiting the graveside as they sang while drum beating and speaking in hushed voices at a graveside.

Government has availed two buses to ferry mourners from Masendu village to the National Heroes Acre where Cde Nleya will be buried tomorrow.
