THE future of Zim Hip Hop is in safe hands judging for the impact the song Ihulumende has made.

Following its release on Sunday, the song, which brings together rappers like Clivin Mangena, Bagga Music, Holy Ten, Bling4, Michael Magz, Voltz JT, Nutty O, Brian Jeck, Kae Chaps, has gained over 150 000 views on YouTube within a day.

Fans have again started to compare Zim Hip Hop and Zim dancehall.

One fan said that this is what they want from Zim Hip Hop artists, to see them working together.

“This is what we have been waiting for, imagine after the fire emoji, then we have this.

“I’m truly happy that they are working together and the industry is going to produce more hits,” said the fan.

Another one took to social media to express his disappointment with Zim dancehall.

“This clearly shows that Zim dancehall is dead, imagine six months no hit song and Zim hip hop has more than 10 hits.

“Nutty O should just leave Zim dancehall and join the winning team, the yut is just too good for dancehall,” added another fan.
