A GAMBLER who won US$600 after casting a bet is clashing with the betting firm which is refusing to pay him his money.
Munyaradzi Zhakata feels Zibet betting company duped him his US$600 by claiming an error on the posted results.
“Ndiri kuitawo ndambudziko ne betting house ye Zibet ndaka staker $100 and l was supposed to win US$600 but they later claimed that the odds had an error.
“One of the officials promised to negotiate with me but it seems they are after buying time,” said Munyaradzi.
Zibet official, Nyashadzaishe Leeroy Madanha, told H-Metro that they did not pay due to an error on the odds.
“Yes, we are aware of Munyaradzi’s issue and we are to refund him in accordance to the rules and regulations.
“An error was recorded on the odds of the match in question and we cannot violate the rules,” said Nyashadzaishe.
Munyaradzi had already made some plans for the Boxing Day expecting to receive his winning cash.
