Sungura star Romeo Gasa will celebrate his latest album “Code 263” at his weekly slot at Time and Jazz Café tonight.

The musician released his album two weeks ago and it has been doing well on the market since its release.

The album presents a different sungura flavour that has made Gasa outstanding. He has brought in acoustic flair to some of his songs, creating a unique sound.

The song “Mashura” from the album is already proving to be a hit and the young musician said he will be celebrating the release and saluting his fans who have embraced the project.

“I am happy because of the reception the album has received so far. I can say I am now refreshed and gone past the pressure that comes with releasing and launching an album.

It is now time to celebrate. I invite my fans to come for the celebrations and also have a feel of all the new songs live on stage,” said Gasa.

“Previously we sampled a few songs before the release of the album. Now we are playing all the songs and it is time to take the music to the people through live shows.

We are back to our Thursday slots at Time and Jazz Café after sometime of reaching out to our fans in other areas.”

The album has shown Gasa’s versatility and it is likely to win him a new section of fans. The vocals and instruments on “Code 263” merge well to produce a fine product.

Songs on the eight-track album include “Anochema”, “Zvirorto”, Nguva Inopera” and “Mr Brown”.
