“I am absolutely over the moon. Macheso is a legend and I have been a fan of his work for as long as I can remember.

“Sharing the stage and this experience with him and his band will be one of the highlights of my journey so far,

“Above and beyond his songwriting, Alick Macheso is an incredible performer.

“His energy on the stage is electric.

“And, the way he interacts with his band is something I admire greatly.

“As a live performer, who puts a lot of weight and importance on band performances, I am excited to experience the musicality and energy across the globe!”

Gamma said she can’t wait to be in Dubai again.

“I love Dubai and the audience there. The last time I was there, I connected with so many Zimbabweans.

“I am excited to be revisiting the city with some of my team, and the Macheso crew.

“I hope to reconnect with some fans too,” she told H-Metro.

She has promised her fans to dish out her best songs and songs from her latest album ‘A Girl From Harare.’

“We will be performing some awesome hits from the past few years, as well as some new music from my EP A Girl From Harare,” said Gemma.

Asked about a possible collaboration with Macheso, the Afro pop singer said it would be beneficial to her.

“Absolutely, it would be an honour. I believe we could create something musical and would love to see Macheso in the studio.

“You learn so much through sharing a studio session with a great artist,” she said.

Gemma has popular songs such as Titungamirei, Maitabasa Baba, 263 featuring Asaph and Nutty O and her biggest collaboration MuGarden with Winky D.
