YESTERDAY, The Manica Post published a story that sent shockwaves through the community: a mysterious “ghost bus” was spotted driving around Mutare with no passengers on board.
The story, complete with eyewitness accounts and eerie descriptions, had many readers convinced that the supernatural had descended upon our city.
But, dear readers, we have a confession to make: it was all an April Fool’s Day prank!
That is right, our team of mischievous journalists concocted the entire story as a lighthearted joke to mark the annual tradition of April 1.
“We wanted to have a bit of fun and create a story that would capture people’s imagination,” said The Manica Post Editor, Cletus Mushanawani.
