The better half of Africa Revenge Willis Wattafi will tonight be performing at Gijima Sports Bar. Dubbed “The Willis Wattaffi Experience”, the musician is set to prove his prowess as a solo artiste. In an interview Wattaffi said he is going to be belting some of his songs from his solo projects.
“I have a number of songs from my solo project and also got some new stuff that I am going to be sampling so I am inviting all Qaya music lovers to come as we celebrate the new year,” he said.
Gijima Sports bar manager Munyaradzi Mugwagwa said all is set for today’s show adding they are expecting a successful event.
“This is the first time that we will be hosting Wattaffi but the joint is well known for hosting different artistes especially those who are into traditional music. We just looking forward to a great show,” he said.
Wattaffi, who reunited with his colleague Mehluli “Taz” Moyo late last year, never kept it a secret that the reunion will not stop both artists from pursuing their solo careers.
