A 13-year-old girl has repeatedly been raped at knife point by her uncle since January in Glen View.
The minor stays with her aunt in one room.
The 50-year-old uncle would regularly visit the two and sleep in the single room, which is divided by a curtain.
Sometime in January this year, at around midnight, the minor was sleeping when the uncle entered and woke her up.
She saw the uncle holding a kitchen knife and he allegedly ordered her to remain quiet and threatened to stab her if she screamed.
He allegedly went on to rape her once without protection.
He then ordered her not to reveal the abuse to anyone and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about what had happened.
That same month, at about 1pm, the minor was resting in the room when the uncle entered the house.
She tried to flee but was grabbed and ordered to remain in the room and he allegedly raped her once without protection.
He again threatened to kill her if she disclosed the abuse to anyone.
The case came to light when one of her sisters suspected her to be pregnant.
She interviewed her and she revealed the abuse.
“We lodged a police report against the uncle and he is yet to be arrested.
“She was referred to Sally Mugabe hospital for medical examinations,” said one of her relatives.
