SONGBIRD Feli Nandi has ended her nationwide ‘Road to Fill Up HICC’ tour ahead of her main concert, ‘A Night with Feli Nandi’.
The musician wrapped up the Road to Fill Up HICC campaign in Bulawayo at Bulawayo Theatre, where she performed with her full band for the first time in the city as part of the tour. The music diva said preparations for the ‘Fill Up HICC’ concert are gathering momentum, and she is promising fans an unforgettable night of music when she takes to the stage on August 14 at the HICC.
The concert, which will also be recorded for a live DVD, is a big step in the diva’s impressive career and is expected to showcase her musical journey alongside world-class production.
In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, she said everything was progressing according to plan as her team worked tirelessly to deliver a memorable event.
“The preparations for Fill Up HICC are progressing very well, and I can honestly say I’m excited about what we’re putting together.
“This isn’t just another concert; it’s a celebration of the journey we’ve travelled together with my fans over the years,” she said.
Feli said every rehearsal and production meeting was focused on ensuring audiences receive a spectacular show.
The singer also reflected on the nationwide promotional tour held ahead of the concert, describing it as one of the most rewarding experiences of the campaign.
“The nationwide build-up tour has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
“Travelling across the country gave us an opportunity to connect with supporters in different communities, and the love we’ve received has been overwhelming.
“The response has reassured me that Zimbabweans believe in this dream just as much as I do,” she said.
Feli said interacting with fans across the country reminded her of music’s ability to bring people together.
“More importantly, the tour reminded me that music has the power to unite people.
“We met families, young people and long-time supporters who have grown with my music, and that personal interaction has given me even more motivation to make ‘Fill Up HICC’ a success.
“I’m incredibly grateful to my fans, sponsors, partners and everyone who has supported this vision.
“Filling the HICC has always been bigger than Feli Nandi, it’s about proving that Zimbabwean music continues to grow and that, together, we can create moments that inspire the next generation of artists.”
The singer said her fans are in for a treat featuring exceptional live performances, surprise collaborations and high-quality production.
“I promise audiences an evening of exceptional live music, special collaborations, world-class production and memories that will stay with them for years to come.
