NATALIE Manzungu, popularly known as Nate 263, and her Two sisters – Nolu and Kyla – brought the house down at Newlands Country Club with their performance during the Glowfest.
Glowfest held the first edition where South African singer Lloyiso was performing.
In true Destiny’s Child fashion, the ladies also rocked coordinating sequined outfits and their poses to really seal the deal.
This was the first time Melanin Rush performed together on stage.
And, this was definitely one of their top performances ever.
Speaking to H-Metro, Nate 263 said:
“It’s always a pleasure and a blessing singing with my sisters, all of us enjoy singing.
“Having to perform at the GlowFest is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had as sisters, we’ve always been seen in church on TikTok at home.
”We have a couple of singles and they are making a positive impact.
“The goal is to make international music and have a wider audience.
“We have been doing covers and getting recognition from different artists from different countries.
“No history of pop music would be complete without listing some of the best girl groups of all time.
“We’re not talking about bands fronted by women or featuring women musicians, but about those composed solely of non-male members,”she said.
Nate 263 added:
“I have some new music coming out very soon and l promise you it’s going to be fired.
“My sister Kyla also has some amazing songs out and she is doing great.
“Stay tuned for more fabulous music and performances from the Melanin Rush.”
