GMB staffers warned on fake qualifications

“These bogus institutions offer certificates, diplomas and degrees which are not recognised in Zimbabwe,” he said.
“Therefore, be prudent and seek advice from our training and development unit. If it so happens that any of you attained a fake certificate, the GMB staff training centre will get rid of both the student and the documents.”
The day was used to honour 22 GMB staff members who completed various studies in different professions.
“This year, from October 2011, 22 employees acquired 23 new qualifications in levels such as professional certificates, diplomas, degrees and master degrees,” said Mr Mandizha.
Mr Mandizha expressed pleasure in the fact that women represented 23 percent of the total number of employees who graduated.
