‘Go beyond your limits’

to work to achieve someone else’s goals,” says Tendai Ishe Taruvinga.

He is the chief executive of Branding Solutions, a fast growing marketing, advertising, printing and corporate communications company.
Mr Taruvinga has always had strong faith that the sky is the limit. He believes that one can achieve whatever one desires if he/she remains focused on a singular vision.

Born on November 3, 1974 in Kwekwe, he grew up in a family of 11 children, with him as the penultimate child.
His first job was as a lab assistant at Lancashire Steel, where he was later upgraded to a trainee draughtsman.

Believing the potential invested in him by God, he was seconded to go for a degree programme.
He also underwent training with Ziscosteel during the same time.

Mr Taruvinga received his Honours Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1998. Soon after that he joined Haggie Rand Zim as maintenance planner. He moved to NEI-Zim (Zesa Hwange), where he was engaged as the projects engineer.

He then joined NUTEC Zim (Zesa Hwange) where he was employed as the general manager in Engineering Services.
He eventually moved to the RB Group where he was the group marketing manager.

“I did not stop reading,” says Mr Taruvinga, “I diversified and started to have a keen interest in the marketing and advertising fields.”
He managed to acquire several certificates in Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Power Engineering and Industrial Maintenance Management. Through hard work and focus he also acquired qualifications from the London

Institute of Commerce, a Diploma in Advanced Marketing, Southern African Centre for Distant Education and Diploma in Product Branding and Advertising and several other certificates in marketing and advertising.

“I am an accredited member of the London Institute of Marketers and am currently studying towards a BA,” he said. Mr Taruvinga is a Christian.
The Branding Solutions chief executive officer contends:

“If you have the full knowledge you really fly and the sky is the limit through Christ who gave me strength.”
He derives his inspiration from fully understanding that he who started a good work with him is faithful enough to finish it.
Mr Taruvinga is inspired by TN Holdings chief executive Mr Tawanda Nyambirai, a lawyer who had the guts to venture into other fields and achieved results, Mr Nigel Chanakira, Mr Strive Masiyiwa and Mr Milton

Kamwendo locally. Internationally, he is inspired by Mr Richard Conwell, the youngest ever Briton to have ever owned the third largest film and advert production studios at the age of 26 and businessman and inspiring speaker, Pastor Joel Osteen.

In his view on the economy he has strong feelings that after the hustle and fussing, we will rise again.
He is confident that being currently the CEO of Branding Solutions, the company will be the biggest production house of printworks, advertising and full video studio and will be at the helm.

He enjoys creating “beats” in his small studio house and loves fishing. Mr Taruvinga wanted to be a lawyer, but he is currently enjoying his work, but still contends that he will take up law studies one day.
He is married to Nyaradzo Taruvinga, whom he says gives him immense support.
The couple has also managed to set up a company, Winvan Foods in Kwekwe, where he completed his secondary education.
