AFTER 180 minutes without a goal and growing frustration among their faithful, Highlanders will be desperate to rediscover their scoring touch and return to winning ways when they host newly promoted Hunters at Barbourfields Stadium this afternoon.
For a team that has largely impressed with its organisation, discipline and attractive brand of football this season, the inability to find the back of the net in their last two matches has become a growing concern.
Bosso come into today’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter on the back of consecutive goalless draws against Manica Diamonds and Ngezi Platinum Stars. While the results extended Highlanders’ unbeaten run, they also highlighted the one area where Benjani Mwaruwari’s men have struggled in recent weeks, turning promising performances into goals.
The frustration was particularly evident recently when Bosso were held to a 0-0 draw by Ngezi Platinum at Barbourfields Stadium.
