A 26-YEAR-OLD Mutare woman, Priviledge Jozi — is living in distress after experiencing four consecutive miscarriages, attributed to traumatic ordeals at the hands of ‘a goblin husband’ who is allegedly jealousy with her husband and the potential off-springs.
In an unsolicited interview, Jozi revealed that she has sought medical attention from multiple doctors, undergoing various procedures to address her fertility issues — including cervical cerclage — also known as a cervical stitch, aimed at preventing pre-term birth in cases of a weakened or incompetent cervix.
Additionally, medical professionals performed a procedure to clean her womb, but despite these interventions, none has been successful in resolving her difficulties.
“I have suffered four miscarriages, all occurring at three months, despite doctors assuring me that I am fine. They have performed procedures to clean my womb, and even conducted a cervical stitch, yet I continue to lose my babies,” explained Jozi.
Desperate for answers, Jozi consulted traditional healers.
“They told me that the issue is spiritual in nature. Apparently, I was unknowingly ‘married off’ to a male goblin, and this entity is consumed by jealousy towards my husband and our off-springs,” she said.
Jozi alleges that she has been plagued by inexplicable occurrences since her Grade Five days. She firmly believes that her womb was spiritually bonded to a male goblin, which was supposedly placed upon her in 2010.
“I have stomach problems whereby I feel so hot in my stomach all year round except during my period days.
“I now crave period days because that is the only time I am fine. Prophets, however, told me that there is a snake in my stomach causing all the pain I am suffering from,” she explained, further describing a series of chilling dreams and supernatural encounters pointing to presence of a spiritual husband.
“When asleep, I will be intimate with a man, whom I now know as my ‘goblin husband’. I have insomnia for two or three days, and when I eventually sleep, I will be intimate with a very tall man in my dreams.
I do not see his face, but his complexion is dark. This started when I was still young, and I used to tell my parents, but they brushed it off. My father keeps telling me to seek medical attention. He does not believe in prophets,” she said.
Jozi narrated experiencing unsettling dreams, featuring bizarre entities that seem to be guiding and mocking her.
“Whenever I plan a trip, I dream of two abnormally short boys leading the way. They are extremely short, with white heads and no teeth, resembling elderly dwarfs,” she said.
She also shared another distressing dream.
“Sometimes I dream breastfeeding a child, and when I wake up, my breasts would be swollen. These experiences have caused significant tension in my marriage, ultimately leading my husband’s family to return me to my father’s home,” she said.
The strained relationships between her family and in-laws eventually escalated into a fierce dispute.
A deep sense of despair was evident in Jozi’s voice as she recounted the breakdown of her relationship.
“My father and father-in-law had a severe misunderstanding. My father suggested consulting healers, which would require US$120. However, my husband rejected the suggestion,” said Jozi, adding that she returned home with her husband, but life became increasingly

difficult.
“My husband’s attitude towards me has shifted dramatically – he no longer provides for me, even basic necessities like food,” she said.
Jozi sought spiritual assistance without the burden of consultation fees.
“Healers have informed me that this ‘goblin’ is connected to an avenging spirit from our family’s past, and that I was unknowingly ‘married off’ to it. I yearn to be free from this affliction,” she implored.
Jozi shared more chilling accounts of recurring dreams that continue to haunt her.
“I often dream chasing a man, only for him to vanish in a cemetery. Other times, I dream of attending a funeral, feeling as though the deceased is being buried on top of me. These experiences have reinforced my belief that I am spiritually married. I feel trapped,” she said.
Her alleged spiritual marriage has left her unable to conceive, despite numerous attempts to seek medical help.
“After some of these dreams, I wake up exhausted, and sometimes my breasts would be swollen, as if I would have been breastfeeding. I urgently need help before my marriage collapses,” she pleaded.
When contacted for comment, Jozi’s father, Tickey Jozi expressed disappointment and frustration.
“My daughter has disrespected me by taking this matter to the Press. She does not get along with other family members, yet she confides in you. What are we supposed to do with such a child?” he asked.
He acknowledged that the family had attempted to support Priviledge, but claimed she was violent, and had strained relationships with her relatives.
“She physically and verbally fights everyone. She is not on good book with her mother, bites her stepmother, hates her aunts, and refuses to communicate with her brothers,” he said, decrying her conduct.
Jozi also stated that Priviledge had blocked his phone number.
“We want to help her, but it seems she is not prepared to accept that help.”
