God wants you to prosper

3 JOHN 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
It is God’s will for you that you prosper. Prosperity is God’s desire for you.
Prosperity is not always a sign of a spiritual blessings, but sometimes it is to the contrary.
People think maybe you have to own a lot of worldly goods, and shows that God is a blessing you. That is not true. Sometimes it is the other way. And some people say: “It is such a blessing. God makes people sick, so He can bless them.”
Don’t you ever believe in such things. That is not Scripture.
If it is, Jesus Christ defeated His own purpose when He came to the earth and healed those who were sick and afflicted.
He came to the earth to defeat exactly what He came to do, then. Jesus came to rid sickness, and to rid sin, and to rid everything that attaches to it. He came to destroy the works of the devil, including the attributes of sin.
Wherever Christ is, there is prosperity. And when Christ returns to the earth, all the curse of the earth will be taken away.
The old desert shall blossom as a rose, and the rough places will be made smooth. And the earth will bring forth in the abundance, for He is the Prince of prosperity, wherever He is.

You cannot prosper in your soul and fail to prosper in your health, and everything regarding your welfare and wellness.
When you receive Christ, you receive a Kingdom.
That Kingdom has no lack. It has no scarcity. It is Kingdom of provision and prosperity.
By prosperity, I mean all prosperity. All success. You prosper in your soul. You prosper in your health. You prosper in everything that pertains to you.
Obededom took care of the Ark of the covenant, and in three months his prosperity was visible.
I do not say you are not saved, if you do not have physical manifestation of the prosperity. I only say it is your right to prosper.
A right is not a duty. Your right to prosperity can be forfeited or abandoned. But to those who want to exercise their right, they can enjoy the benefits of being a Christian.
I do not say if you do not want to make use of the physical blessings you will go to hell. Nor do I say if you prosper you will go to heaven.
I am saying it’s your right to use the benefits that God has given you. There are many rich people who will make it to heaven and many poor men who will make it to hell, and vice-versa.
It is God’s desire for you to live a good life. A life of abundance.
A life free from sickness and disease. That is His will for you. Don’t ever feel guilty when you ask God to prosper you. It is His will for you to prosper.
If you want to be poor in order to be spiritual, go ahead and be poor. But your God owns the silver and the gold. He owns cattle on a thousand hills. He created the universe. He put the gold on earth. He put all the material you need to stay happy and live a fulfilled life.
God wants you in good health. Sickness is not a blessing. God is a Giver of every good gift. Poverty and want are not a blessing.
Afflictions are not a blessing from God. They may help to mould our character in patience and endurance, as our faith is being tried.
But they are not good gifts. If sickness was gift from God, God would have defeated His purpose by giving gifts of healing and deliverance. Afflictions may be many to a Christian, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
Joshua 1:8, this Book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
As long as the Book of the Law is in your mouth, prosperity is guaranteed.
God is not celebrated in our misfortunes. God is not celebrated by death. When Hezekiah prayed for his healing, he reminded God that the grave would not celebrate God.
Isaiah 38:18-19: “For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.”
It is when we are alive and well that we bring glory and honour to God. It is when we can testify and make known God’s deeds to His people.
2 Corinthians 8:9 says: “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
