THE Zimbabwe Under-21 hockey girls team have qualified for the Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile, in December.

They qualified with a convincing 7-0 win over Kenya at the ongoing 2023 Junior Africa Cup in Egypt.

The girls managed to post two wins against Egypt and Kenya and one loss to South Africa.

They needed nothing short of a victory yesterday to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

They were on their way to glory by the break with a lead of 4-0.
