Goromonzi woman down with brain tumour

H-Metro Reporter

Mashamba Tsabora, a welder from Goromonzi, is urgently appealing for US$20000 to fund brain tumour surgery for his wife, Tina, in India.

Tina, the mother of three, has also suffered a stroke and is currently paralysed and unable to speak. In an interview with H-Metro, Tsabora emphasised that they have exhausted all their financial resources, and doctors have recommended treatment in India, where specialists are available.

“I am just a mere welder from Goromonzi struggling to make ends meet,” he explained. My wife’s condition is critical, and we have used up everything we had.”

He added: “Some close relatives have helped us, but we have now reached a point where it has become difficult for them and for us.”

Tsabora revealed that Tina’s cancer is at an advanced stage, but several doctors have indicated that she still has a chance of survival if she receives treatment in India.

“We have tried everything we could, including taking her to Zambia for treatment and to Mutare, but there has been no improvement.”

He noted that their last hope lies in the support of well-wishers, as they have completely exhausted their finances.
