Gospel crooner SA bound

RISING gospel crooner Trymore Bande, who seems to be enjoying the musical expedition and taking it seriously, looks set to break into the international market and is scheduled to stage his maiden show in Durban, South Africa, on Saturday (tomorrow).

Bande, who abandoned his chosen marketing profession to undertake music on a full time basis, is now based in Mutare.

He is currently riding high with chartbuster album Zvakagara Zvakadaro.

In an interview, the talented songwriter said he was ready for the Mzansi showdown.

Bande, who will be backed by his seven-member group, will perform at Abundant Grace Pentecostal Ministries Hall in Durban.

The show was organised by Max T Promotions.

“It is a moment I have been waiting for. We are really grateful that several people, particularly promoters and fans, are appreciating my music.

“We feel motivated and encouraged to go forward. Going to South Africa is such an honour and we hope our fans will be blessed.

He will be supported by various gospel musicians notably Fibion Tagarira, Sihle Matutu, Tinashe and Norbet Rwodzi.

Some of Bande’s previous albums are Old and New Testament, Discover to Recover 2008 and Scriptures (2010).
