LOCAL gospel divas alongside South Africa’s queen of gospel music Dr Rebecca Malope will today perform at a high profile gospel extravaganza at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
This is the first time Dr Rebecca Malope is coming to perform in the City of Kings and Queens. Malope is celebrating three decades in the music industry.
The show will feature a star lineup that includes Tholakele, Mai Charamba, Thobekile Mleya, Lorraine, Abigail Mwembe and Rebecca Malope among many others.
Speaking to Sunday Life, one of the organisers of the event, Babongile Sikhonjwa said they were inviting everyone to come and enjoy the show.
“We have a big show lined up for the people of Bulawayo and we are inviting everyone to come and enjoy with us and help Rebecca celebrate her 30 years in the music industry,” said Sikhonjwa.
This is a family show where children are also catered for, the organisers of the event have put together fun activities for the kids like jumping castles among many other activities.
The gospel divas were scheduled to hold a similar show at Harare gardens yesterday.
