AWARD-WINNING gospel artists Mathias Mhere, Dorcas Moyo, Sabastian Magacha and Fungisayi Zvakavapano will this Friday join forces to celebrate diversity and unity.

The quartet is set to perform at a “Night of Miracles Crusade” set for Maranatha Junior School sports fields in Tynwald.

The crusade is being hosted by local evangelist Eriya Chibvongo.

“It’s going to be one of the most entertaining gospel shows as we have incorporated a number of stars who command a following in the genre.

“We are anticipating a huge crowd and the event has also been designed to celebrate the diversity in gospel music.

“This is also a chance to minister the word of God and save more souls,” said Evangelist Chibvongo.

He said he has a soft spot for promoting gospel artists.

“I feel gospel music is a tool that brings people to God and the more they seek to be entertained the more chances to convince them to give their lives to Christ,” he said.

Mathias Mhere is currently promoting his 11th album, Akati Anesu.

“This is a rare opportunity for gospel music and we have joined in order to promote the genre.

“Like always, I am promising an exciting show and will be performing new songs off my latest album,” said Mhere.

Dorcas Moyo, who was recently honoured at the CLIMA Africa Awards held in Nigeria, also confirmed her participation at the event.

“Let’s meet this Friday and celebrate our recent achievement together, I wouldn’t have done it without every single one of you.

“Let’s come in our numbers as we promote gospel music,” she said.

Rising star, Batsirai Shasha, is also part of the event.
