The money would be shared equally among seed and fertiliser companies.
Rains have already started falling in some parts of Zimbabwe, signalling the onset of the farming season.
There were fears that some seed and fertiliser companies were not going to provide inputs on loan to farmers as Government still owed them for last year’s supplies.
Mr Manungo said Government was making frantic efforts to ensure that farmers who delivered grain to GMB were paid before the close of the selling season.
He said Government last week released US$5 million to GMB for grain deliveries made from August 31 this year.
Responding to complaints from the floor over punitive duty being charged on some commodities at ports of entry, Mr Manungo said it was important that a balance be struck between enhancing the people’s capacity to import some commodities and saving local companies from collapse.
