director, Mr Happy Ndanga, said the results have already been dispatched to the examination body’s regional offices.
He said Zimsec centre heads started collecting them yesterday.
“Zimsec wishes to heartily commend all those who participated in the marking and processing of these examinations.
“At the same time we wish to compliment the markers of Tonga, which was examined for the first time at that level.
“Other local languages will be added on in due course on an annual basis,” he said.
Mr Ndanga urged staff at the regional offices to ensure a “smooth” collection of the results by school authorities.
This is the first in years when the results were released on time to allow parents and guardians to secure Form One places for their children.
