A CHIPINGE grandpa (89) was brutally murdered by his nephew on Sunday in a gruesome revenge killing after he was accused of killing the latter’s father.

Manicaland deputy provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, confirmed the spine-chilling incident which happened in Betuka Village in Chief Musikavanhu’s area.

“Posani Madhura (48) was arrested a day after killing Simon Sithole. Posani approached Sithole in Dakate bushes and confronted him, accusing him of causing his father’s death. He twisted his arm and kicked him several times all over the body.

 

“Simon reported the matter to the police and Posani was arrested. Simon died two days later after succumbing to serious head injuries he sustained during the attack,” said Ass Insp Chinyoka.
