Longmont Police Commander, Jeff Satur, said clerks recognised Nation from the first robbery when she returned to the bank in late March.
Police believe on that occasion Nation got nervous while waiting in line with her robbery note and left. On Monday, she returned.
Clerks recognised her again and immediately called police when she entered the bank and approached with a note. Nation was found sitting inside her car in the parking lot outside the bank.
Police said they also found a note in the car indicating that she was going to rob the bank, demanding money, and telling tellers not to use a dye pack. Satur paid credit to quick thinking bank employees.
“Those guys deserve all the credit,” he said.
“They did a tremendous job. They were aware of their surroundings, on top of things, and when she walked in, they were on the phone. That really helped us to get her arrested.” — Daily Mail
