Green Battle on Super Sunday

IT was supposed to play second fiddle to the Battle of Zimbabwe showdown.

But, the Castle Lager Premiership match between leaders CAPS United and champions FC Platinum is now the top battle in the weekend programme.

The Super Sunday showdown is set for the National Sports Stadium.

We have even found a nickname for this big match – The Green Battle!

There has been concern that the capital is being overshadowed, when it comes to attendance figures at top-flight league matches, by what is happening in Bulawayo.

This big game could provide an opportunity for the capital to show that it can also attract big crowds at league matches.
