PEP Guardiola has made a secret three-day trip to Barcelona to rescue his marriage — staying with wife Cristina at their home.
The Man City boss has “not given up hope on his marriage” despite a divorce announcement in January, sources say.
Pep, 54, took a private jet from Manchester to Barcelona just hours after his team’s 3-1 win against Plymouth in the FA Cup last Saturday.
City had seven days without a game ahead of yesterday’s Premier League defeat against Nottingham Forest.
A source said: “They spent three nights together in Barcelona, both staying at the family home.
“Pep went out on Monday to the dentist and Cristina went to her fashion shop in the city centre. They met up again at the shop and spent three hours there before returning to the house to spend the evening together.
“Pep left for Manchester on Tuesday morning.”
The trip has given rise to hopes that the couple will save their marriage.
They drifted apart after Cristina, 52, moved back to Barcelona in 2019.
