Gwanda murder suspects arrested

THREE suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man whose body was dumped at a house in Senondo suburb in Gwanda with multiple stab wounds.

Mr Prince Mkhululi Moyo of Phakama suburb was stabbed several times last Thursday at around 3AM.

Residents woke up in the morning to find his body lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police.

Matabeleland South provincial police spokesperson, Chief Inspector Philisani Ndebele confirmed the arrest of the three suspects.

“I can confirm that we arrested three people in connection with a murder case where a man was killed outside a house in Senondo suburb in Gwanda in the early hours of Thursday. The three suspects are now assisting police with investigations,” he said.

Residents from the area said they heard Mr Moyo screaming and calling out for help at around 3AM but they were afraid to intervene. They then found his body next to the door of a house belonging to Mr Bernard Sibanda.
