The awards ceremony organiser, Dr Enrico Sibanda, described Dr Dube as a courageous woman who has done a lot to uplift people’s lives in Zimbabwe. He described Dr Dube as Zimbabwe’s own Oprah Winfrey whose humanitarian works have seen her being recognised even at international stages.

“We have seen her helping the needy, especially women, and orphans. We have seen her going to the extent of donating residential stands and building houses for the less privileged in society. It doesn’t mean that she has everything, no, she has the heart to help, she was God sent,” said Dr Sibanda.

Dr Dube said she finds happiness and joy in helping the needy. She thanked the Business Awards Council for honouring her works with a book prize.
“I am happy to receive the book prize and I thank God for giving me the strength and ideas,” said Dr Dube.
