Manduku was remanded in custody to 18 December.
The facts, as presented by Mrs Chipo Matshe, are that on a date unknown to the prosecution, but during the period extending from 16 January to 22 June this year, at House Number 1359 in Nehosho, Manduku tampered with a ZETDC breaker and restored power that had been disconnected at his house.
She said Manduku switched on the electricity after Mr Cyprian Mutamiri had disconnected it.
The court heard that a ZETDC security team got wind of the alleged crime and investigations led to his arrest.
