TEENAGE Hadebe says he is happy to be back from injury.
The defender returned from a three-week injury lay-off and was used as a second half substitute in Houston Dynamo’s 1-2 loss to Seattle Sounders, in the American Major League Soccer.
“I’m happy to be back and playing.
“Injuries are part of the game and what’s important is recovery and I’m happy that I’ve recovered and I’m looking forward to some game time.
“It wasn’t easy being on the sidelines.
“I love to play and do well for my team,” he said.
He added:
“It’s good to be back and I’m grateful for the opportunity the coach gave me.
“Those minutes I was given to play mean a lot to me.”
Brendan Galloway made his fourth successive start in Plymouth Argyle’s 3-2 win over Derby.
Galloway made an error that led to Derby’s first goal.
He was substituted in the 75th minute.
Wigan Athletic’s Tendayi Darikwa didn’t play due to a shoulder injury, while Marvelous Nakamba missed another Aston Villa game.
Nakamba has not featured for the Claret and Blue this season.
He has only made Steven Gerrard’s match day squad twice this season.
The midfielder is believed to have held talks with the former England international over lack of game time.
Jordan Zemura made another start as Bournemouth beat Nottingham Forest 3-2.
Zemura was subbed off at half-time.
Marshall Munetsi featured in the whole game in Stade de Reims’ 1-1 draw against Lens in the French Ligue 1.
Tinotenda Kadewere’s La Liga debut was delayed after he was not included in Real Mallorca’s matchday squad for the encounter against Girona.
The Warriors’ striker made history last week by becoming the first Zimbabwean player to join a Spanish top-flight club after moving on a season-long loan deal from French side Lyon.
Kadewere trained with his new team for the first time on Wednesday.
The player’s absence was due to the late processing of his clearance by La Liga.
