Harare Deputy Mayor Rosemary Muronda, Shadreck Mashayamombe to appear in court today

Harare Deputy Mayor, Councillor Rosemary Muronda and former Harare South Member of Parliament, Shadreck Mashayamombe, are set to appear before a Harare Magistrate today.

Mashayamombe has arrived at the Harare Magistrates Court, where he and Muronda are expected to answer to allegations of the fraudulent sale of council land.

The former legislator is being represented by his lawyer, Mrs Devoted Nyagano.

He was arrested on Wednesday by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
