Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe, is the destination of choice for tourists from all walks of life because of the uniqueness of attractions in the city and its immediate environs.

Its residents are warm, welcoming and always available to assist.

Harare is a safe and bustling city where wide avenues are lined with indigenous plants and blooming jacarandas.

Schools and colleges visit the city for tours of the National Heroes’ Acre, the Botanical Gardens, the museums, the Harare International Airport, among a host of other attractions.

Medically, Harare offers the best treatment because of the array of facilities resident in the city. Local tourists from across Zimbabwe visit Harare to seek medical attention.

The Harare International Festival of Arts, the Harare International Carnival, and the Harare International Film Festival are among a host of yearly events that bring hordes of tourists to Harare.

Attractions in Harare include the National Heroes’ Acre, Tobacco Floors, National Gallery of Zimbabwe, National Archives of Zimbabwe, National Sports Stadium, Epworth Balancing Rocks, Harare Gardens, Mukuvisi Woodlands. Harare has the highest number of golf courses within a 13km radius of the city centre.

In terms of food Harare offers unequalled fine dining at such places as Butchers Kitchen, Chang Thai, Garwe, Amanzi, Ocean basket, Pointe Restaurant, Millers Kitchen, Newscafe, St Elmos just to mention but a few.

Harare has numerous markets that sell a variety of artefacts such as Mupedzanhamo, Mbare Crafts, Avondale Flea Market, Dendera Gallery, Newlands art and Crafts Market and KwaMambo.

It prides itself as the city with the most upmarket shopping malls in Zimbabwe. Talk of Sam Levy, Avondale, Westgate, Newlands, Chisipite, Highglen and Arundel, among a host of smaller malls in the various suburbs.

Simply put, Harare is a one stop destination offering a multiplicity of pull attractions. Everything begins and ends well in Harare.
