Precious Shumba, Director of the Harare Residents Trust, has praised the Mayor of Harare, Cllr Jacob Mafume, for announcing a forward-thinking policy direction regarding City Parking remittances.
In an interview at the ISO Certification handover ceremony for City Parking last week, Mr Shumba applauded the mayor’s plan to utilize dividends from City Parking for road repairs and development of infrastructure in the Central Business District (CBD).
Shumba described the move as “highly commendable” and expressed optimism that it would bring tangible benefits to the city.
The ISO Certification handover ceremony marked a significant milestone for City Parking, recognising the company’s commitment to excellence and quality in its services.
Shumba’s endorsement of the mayor’s policy direction highlights the importance of collaborative efforts between stakeholders in enhancing the city’s infrastructure.
