A MHONDORO Ngezi teenager got the shock of his life after he came across a corpse that was in the decomposing state while he was herding cattle.
Isheanesu Tapera, 18, was welcomed by an unpleasant odour before he saw a corpse.
“It was around 11 am in the morning and I was heading cattle.
“I was welcomed by the smell and I thought it was something else, maybe a dog or cow, and I was not even aware where the smell was coming from.
“I was astonished by what I saw and I escaped from the scene as it was my first time coming across something like that.
“I met an elderly man who asked me why I was in a rush and I told him everything.
“I directed him to the scene and I do not know what happened thereafter as I never reported the matter to the police.”
Police were later notified and collected the body.
The identity of the woman is still unknown and anyone with information should visit Turf Police Station.
