The Highlanders Cowdray Park Chapter carried out a successful clean-up campaign at the Cowdray Park terminus on Sunday morning, ahead of the highly anticipated Battle of Zimbabwe Part Two match scheduled for the afternoon.

The initiative aimed to both promote the Highlanders FC brand among local residents and raise environmental awareness by encouraging the community to take pride in their surroundings.
Chapter chairman Nhlanhla “Bhango” Dube highlighted the significance of the campaign.
“This clean-up is more than just keeping the area tidy. It’s about bringing the community together. This is all about instilling a sense of pride for our team and neighbourhood.”

Vice chairman Precious Mathema echoed these sentiments.
“Activities like this strengthen the bond between the club and its supporters. It’s teamwork both on and off the pitch.”

The campaign drew positive feedback from residents, who commended the club’s commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility.
