IN a show of community pride and football passion, the Highlanders FC Cowdray Park Supporters Chapter has launched a clean-up campaign at the Cowdray Park terminus ahead of the much-anticipated Battle of Zimbabwe Part Two between Highlanders and Dynamos this Sunday.

The initiative, which kicks off on Sunday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, is not just about supporting their team, but also about giving back to the community and raising environmental awareness.

“As Highlanders Cowdray Park Chapter, we have decided to do a clean-up exercise at Cowdray Park terminus ahead of the Battle of Zimbabwe Part Two on Sunday,” said Precious Mathema, Vice Chairperson of the chapter.

Mathema highlighted that the clean-up is part of a broader mission to market the Highlanders FC brand to local residents while also promoting environmental consciousness.

“This is not going to be a one-time event but an ongoing process that will continue even after the Highlanders FC and Dynamos FC game,” said Mathema.

The chapter is encouraging members of the public and local media to attend and be part of the initiative, which demonstrates how football fandom can be a force for positive change within the community.
