Highlanders FC left back Faira joins Herentals on loan until end of season

The defender is expected to be available for Herentals as they continue their campaign in the second half of the Premier Soccer League season.

HIGHLANDERS FC have loaned left-back Archford Faira to Herentals College FC for the remainder of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

The Bulawayo giants confirmed the move on Monday, saying the temporary transfer is aimed at giving the defender an opportunity to gain more first-team experience.

In a statement, Highlanders said they were confident Faira would continue his development during his stint with the Students.

“Highlanders FC can confirm that left-back Archford Faira has joined Herentals College FC on loan for the remainder of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

“Everyone at Highlanders FC wishes Archford all the best during his spell with the students. We are confident he will continue to grow and gain valuable experience, and we look forward to welcoming him back at the end of the season.

“Good luck, Archford,” the club said.
