HIGHLANDERS are set to take their centenary celebrations to the streets of Bulawayo as the club’s roadshow gets underway on Saturday, building excitement ahead of Sunday’s Battle of Zimbabwe against Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium.
The roadshow, which brings together players and supporters from both clubs, starts at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Grounds, where the inaugural Kuzana Sport and Creative Economy Expo Zimbabwe (SCEEZ) is taking place, before proceeding through the city’s streets.

The initiative adds to the build-up to one of Zimbabwean football’s biggest fixtures, with Highlanders marking 100 years of existence in 2026.
Sunday’s encounter against their traditional rivals is also the football highlight of the five-day Kuzana Expo, which brings together sport, business, culture and entertainment while promoting the commercialisation of the sporting and creative industries.
For Highlanders, the occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate a century of football history alongside the supporters who have remained central to the club’s identity.
The participation of Dynamos players and fans in the roadshow also brings the rivalry beyond the pitch, offering supporters an opportunity to share in the build-up to the eagerly anticipated encounter.

The two clubs will meet at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday, with the match providing the climax to the expo and forming part of Highlanders’ centenary celebrations.
With Bulawayo hosting a week of sporting and creative activities, the roadshow is expected to add
to the excitement ahead of the showdown between Bosso and DeMbare.
