THE 2014 edition of the Hillside Masters Golf Championship tees off this morning with several amateurs expected to take part.
Local amateur golfers return to action a few weeks after they last took part in the Chirorodziva Open Championships in Chinhoyi.
The last event was won by Mbongeni Maphosa.
The Hillside course will be hosting its second highest high-profile tournament after successfully hosting the Manicaland Amateur Championships.
Stuart Krog, Nicholas Masunga, Pride Sembo and David Amm are some of the players who could turn on the show.
Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Golf Association could be under immense pressure once again amid fears that the country could lose its World Championship slot for 10 years.
Boniface Chigorimbo, the ZGA boss, could neither confirm or deny the possibility that the country could be thrown out of the World Championships for the next 10 years.
