Hockey inter-provincial tournament on cards

scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday and will see teams from Midlands, Harare, Matabeleland, Mashonaland East, East and South region and Mashonaland West teams fighting for honours in the competition. Harare are the defending champions and convenor of selectors for the province, Cliff Kaseke, said they were optimistic they will retain the title in this year’s edition year.

 

“The boys have been practising since last week and will hold their last session tomorrow at Twin Rivers.

“Harare A team are the defending champions and we are going to try and defend the title. I feel we are going to win because we have a group of good guys who have been training very hard and have been responding very well to training. We are optimistic because we have good quality, we held a tournament two weeks ago where we selected the teams,” said Kaseke.
